  • Milas-Bodrum Airport received “PRM Friendly Company” certificate.
2015
  • Elazığ Airport  received “PRM Friendly Company” certificate.
  • Kayseri Airport received “PRM Friendly Company” certificate.
  • Trabzon Airport received “PRM Friendly Company” certificate.
  • Gaziantep Airport received “PRM Friendly Company” certificate.
  • Konya Airport received “PRM Friendly Company” certificate.
  • Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport  received “PRM Friendly Company” certificate.
  • İstanbul Atatürk ve Ankara Esenboğa Stations received “Green Company” title.
  • Kütahya Zafer Airport received “PRM Friendly Company” title.
  • The contents of 'Green Company' certificates of Bodrum, Dalaman, Antalya, Izmir and Adana stations of Havaş are extended and renewed by Directorate General of Civil Aviation (SHGM).

  • Izmir, Bodrum and Adana Stations received “Green Company” certificate.
  • Antalya Airport received “PRM Friendly Company” title.
  • Sivas Airport received “PRM Friendly Company” title.
  • Nevşehir Kapadokya Airport received “PRM Friendly Company” title.
  • Atatürk Airport received “PRM Friendly Company” title.
  • Ankara, Adana, Dalaman and İzmir Airport received “PRM Friendly Company” title.
  • Havaş Saudi Arabia, the first Turkish company which was issued a ground handling services license in Saudi Arabia, started its operations in July 2014.
2012
  • Havaş Europe started services in Germany.
  • Havaş Saudi Arabia is established in Saudi Arabia.
  • In October 2012, TAV Airports Holding repurchased 100% of Havaş shares and became sole owner of the company.
  • Havaş received the designation at Dalaman and Antalya Stations“Green Company” as part of the “Green Airport” initiative.
2011
  • Havaş increased its share in North Hub Services to 67% and rebranded NHS as Havaş Europe.
  • With its subsidiaries, Havaş increased its market share in Turkey to 64%.
2010
  • TGS commenced operations.
  • TAV Airports Holding transferred 35% of its shares to HSBC and İş Private Equity.
  • Havaş extended its operations to new geographic areas by acquiring 50% of the shares in North Hub Services (NHS), a Riga (Latvia) based ground handling services company.
  • Havaş received the designation at Bodrum Station “Green Company” as part of the “Green Airport” initiative.
2009
  • Havaş became a 50% partner of Turkish Ground Services (TGS) after reaching an agreement with Turkish Airlines; as a result, the Company took a huge step toward achieving its growth target in the ground handling services industry.
  • TAV Gözen commenced operations.
2008
  • Cyprus Airport Services (CAS), a 50% Havaş partnership, commenced ground handling services and car park operations at Ercan Airport.
  • Havaş established TAV Gözen Aviation, a hangar operations company, in partnership with Gözen Aviation and Türkmen Aviation.
2007
  • TAV Airports Holding acquired Ciner Group’s shares in Havaş and increased its ownership to 100%.
2005
  • (May) TAV Airports Holding acquired Ciner Group’s 60% stake in the Company.
  • (July) Ciner Group acquired Swissport’s 40% stake in the Company.
  • Havaş started to provide warehouse services at Istanbul Atatürk Airport.
1998
  • (April) Swissport acquired 40% of the Company shares.
1995
  • Ciner Group acquired a 60% stake of Havaş in a privatization tender.
1987
  • The Company was divided into two entities: one providing catering services under the name “Usaş” and the other providing ground handling services under the name “Havaş”.
1958
  • The Company was restructured under Turkish Airlines and rebranded as Usaş A.Ş. which began providing ground handling services to other airlines in Turkey.
1933
  • Turkey’s oldest public ground handling company was originally founded as the Ground Handling and Catering Company under the aegis of State Airlines (the forerunner of Turkish Airlines prior to 1955).
