HISTORY

Established under a 50/50% partnership between Havaş and Air Baltic, the fastest growing airline company of North Europe and a subsidiary of BAS (Baltic Aviation System), North Hub Services (NHS), our ground handling services company founded at Riga, the capital city of Latvia, started to provide service to Air Baltic flights as of January 1st, 2010. Following the partnership with Havaş, the company was awarded the Ramp Licensing Tender and as a result received the required approval to provide ramp services at Riga Airport. In line with these developments, NHS began providing ground handling services at Helsinki, the capital city of Finland, as of July 1st, 2010, and also completed its structuring and started its operations at Stockholm Arlanda Airport located at the capital city of Sweden as of the second quarter of 2011.

Havaş increased its share rate in NHS to 66.7% as of December 11th, 2011, and continued its operations under "Havaş Europe" brand.

Aiming to expand its services both towards the east and the west, Havaş Saudi Arabia was founded under the partnership of HavaalanlarıYerHizmetleriA.Ş., TAV Airports Holding and Al Rajhi Holding on December 23rd, 2012 and started its operations at Madinah Prince Muhammed Bin Abdulaziz International Airport on April 4th, 2014. Havaş is the first Turkish company that was issued a ground handling services license, which enables the company to provide all ground handling services, in Saudi Arabia.​
