Havaş begins providing services at Ordu-Giresun Airport


Providing ground handling services to world's leader airline companies, Havaş began providing services at its new station by welcoming the first Turkish Airlines flight at Ordu-Giresun Airport which was opened with a ceremony participated by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu the previous day. Offering complete ground handling solutions to 26 airports in Turkey and many airlines at eight airports in Germany, Latvia and Saudi Arabia, Havaş will render ground handling services to Turkish Airlines and its subsidiary company AnadoluJet flights at Ordu-Giresun Airport, which is Europe's and Turkey's first airport that was built on the sea. Havaş also began coach services to Ordu and Giresun from Ordu-Giresun Airport. All coaches offered free services to the passengers at the opening day.

Havaş General Manager (a.i.) Kürşad Koçak stated: "Havaş performs its operations with the goal of becoming a continuously growing brand by expanding its service network both in Turkey and abroad. We have included a new service point to our portfolio with the new station which we opened at Ordu-Giresun Airport. We will provide ground handling services to all of Turkish Airlines and its subsidiary brand AnadoluJet flights that will be launched to Ordu-Giresun Airport. I wish the best for our collaboration with Turkish Airlines. Havaş has also begun providing airport transportation services. We will offer comfortable transportation to city centers via our new service point. The growth of Havaş will continue in Turkey and abroad with new stations and collaborations."

Turkish Airlines is planning to make five reciprocal flights between Ordu-Giresun Airport and Atatürk Airport every week. AnadoluJet is going to launch four reciprocal flights from Sabiha Gökçen Airport and five reciprocal flights from Ankara Esenboğa Airport every week. The flights with Boeing 737 and Airbus A320 aircraft, are planned to be fcilitated daily as of June.
