IATA Ground Handling Conference held in Istanbul by support of


Providing services to over 200 airline companies at 33 airports in Turkey, Germany, Latvia and Saudi Arabia, Havaş supports 'International Ground Handling Conference' (IGHC), which is held by International Air Transport Association (IATA) in Istanbul this year, as Platinum Plus sponsor. Attended by more than 750 representatives of airlines and ground handling services sector, the three-day-conference is held with the title of "Creating value at the intersection of service and cost". Finding the opportunity to experience push back simulation device, which is being used only by Havaş in Turkey within the training sessions, the visitors are showing huge interest to Havaş stand.

Havaş General Manager (a.i.) Kürşad Koçak stated: "We are glad that IATA International Ground Handling Conference, which attracts the sector members, is held in Istanbul this year. Havaş is providing ground handling services to many airline companies at eight airports in Germany, Latvia and Saudi Arabia besides 25 airports in Turkey. We planned to offer a different apron and push back experience to the visitors by presenting one of the important training titles for safety service at the apron, the simulation device in its actual size, which is used for on-the-job training sessions only by Havaş in Turkey."

28th IATA International Ground Handling Conference is being held in Istanbul for the second time over the past decade. Havaş Sales and Marketing Deputy General Manager Güçlü Batkın will participate in 'Industry Financial Health' conference which will be held on 29th April.
