RECRUITMENT PROCESS
Mass recruitment:
(Seasonal)personnel recruitments are held with fixed-term contracts in order to meet our labor force requirements during summer period, where our activities increase significantly. Mass recruitment process at our stations commences in February every year. You may submit your application by filling out our form in person at our company or by entering your information into the application section of our website. These applications are assessed and people who are suitable for required positions are invited to the exam for mass recruitment process. Positions for which our company performs the highest seasonal recruitment and their brief job descriptions are as follows:
· Operation Agent: To ensure coordination between flight crew, airline representative and operational units durig the period from pre-arrival till departure of respective aircraft, to make weight and balance calculations of the aircraft according to IATA rules. To monitor slots and permits, to revise flight programs, to communicate frequency information and messages to concerned departments and to make daily coordination.
· Passenger Services Agent: To carry out baggage, ticket and passport processes completely and accurately in accordance with the National and International Rules and Havaş Standards from entry of passenger to the airport till boarding. To meet the passengers upon arrival of the aircraft and direct them to passport control and to assist passengers with all the problems related to baggage.
· Worker: To render baggage loading-offloading services, to perform aircraft interior cleaning.
Required qualifications for applicants are:
Worker should:
- reside at places that are close to the airport and on the route of company's shuttle,
- be at least primary school graduate,
- be aged between 18-35,
- be available for working in shifts
Applications must be delivered to our stations in person by filling in the application form that will be given to them by Havaş officers. Applicants must bring their photos and identity cards for application. Working hours will be arranged according to the shift system applicable in our company.
Operation Agent / Passenger Services Agent should:
- reside at places that are close to the airport and on the route of company's shuttle
- be at least high scholl graduate,
- have a good level of speaking a foreign language (preferably English)
- be aged between 18-35
- be available for working in shifts
Candidates are put through tests measuring Foreign Language and learning/analytical thinking/problem solving skills at the recruitment exam. Candidates that pass these tests attend Competency-Based Turkish Interview to question their suitability for HAVAŞ profile and another interview to measure their level of foreign language speaking skills. Candidates with positive assessment results are invited to theoretical and on-the-job training after the recruitment process.Candidates who succeed at the test to be held at the end of the training are recruited.
Individual Recruitment:
Applications submitted through our website or to our company in person are evaluated for individual personnel requirements that arise during the work process, other than Planning Period and Mass Recruitment Periods at Headquarters and Stations.
Applications submitted to our company for positions at Headquarters are subject to
pre-elimination in accordance with qualifications required by each position. Applicants with suitable qualifications are included in the assessment process and assessed in terms of competences required by the respective position.
Candidate(s) who bear qualifications and competences required by the position and who are compliant with Havaş Corporate Culture are recruited. Delivery of rules and regulations of the company, information including introduction of their rights and business environment during their first days is ensured with an "orientation program" in order for new personnel to accommodate to business and corporate culture.
